Are the following sentences correct?
The majority of the class is Hispanic.
The majority of the students is Hispanic.
or
The majority of the students are Hispanic.
Is majority the subject or students are the subject?

"The majority of the students are hispanic" sounds more correct, for "the majority of the student is hispanic" falls more into the french grammar.
then "students "will be the subject.
