Trying to write a special message for a friend who is in sports, team name Knights.

"To the Best Knight ever #42"

Is this correct to use capitalization for these two words ? Best, Knight

There is no correct or incorrect here. You choose what you want to use. Capitalizing "Best" will emphasize it.
