What are the words for "a witty comment" and "a foolish comment"?

For "witty" you could say "That was funny." or "That was clever."

For "foolish" you could say "That was dumb." or "That was stupid."

Thanks for that guys but not what I'm looking for.
A while ago playing in "Freerice" I came across a word which means "a witty comment" but I lost it.
