Default Re: are these sentences correct

She lied to me.
-My grandmother sleeps for many hours every day.
-When my grandfather was sick, he stayed awake most of the time.
-The families whom have problems.
-At the end of the film, the two main characters become close friends.
-She is very well protected by her family.
-When your son wakes up after the trauma, you must be present.
-There were a lot of lawyers' offices.
-For him, his mother was essential in those moments.
-When Pat saw him, she went for help.
-In the film, this character was put in prison because he didn't want to talk.
-She asked me if I wanted a biscuit.
-A lawyer advises you of your rights.
-A lot of media were waiting for the model outside of her house.
Although this sentence would be better if you said,
There was a lot of media waiting outside of the model's house.
