Default the difference between "what" and "which"

Hello,
I know that we should use "which' when we have to choose between two things,eg.Which do you prefer, watching movies or surfing the Net ?
but is it wrong, using what instead of which in this sentence ?

Default Re: the difference between "what" and "which"

No - very commonly used if you are asking about what someone likes doing, but not asking for choice or preference.

"Which" is asking you to select one of a number.
