Is there a section in you Web Site that gives a thorough explanation of "dangling modifyers" and how to avoid them ?

First Gilles, you have to realize that dangling modifiers are not the big deal that they're made out to be. For formal writing, we would take much greater pains to avoid them, but they happen all the time in speech and common sense sees us through with nary a bump.
