Smile the children burst into spontaneous laughter.

The movie was so funny that the children burst into spontaneous laughter. They just couldn't help it.

"Spontaneous" is a bit redundant. If you burst into laughter it is almost certainly spontaneous.

The joke was so funny that the children burst into laughter.
The movie was so funny that the children burst into laughter many times.
The movie was so funny that the children couldn't help bursting into laughter many times.
