How to improve English

I'm Pakistani University student , Though i speak broken english but couldn't improve in it .Would any body help me in improving and increase in vocabulary.
I'll be very thankful for that.

hi, i have been trying to improve my English for years. i didn't make it yet, but i hope one day i will.

my recipe is to read aloud a lot, write a lot and talk as much as you can with someone who actually knows English (preferably a native). listen to the news on the radio or TV, watch TV shows and expose yourself to the language.

despite sounding easy at the beginning because of the small number of irregular verbs, the language turns out to be extremely difficult when u get to the point of using the correct prepositions, phrasal verbs, slangs and pronunciation.
