Question Anything on Syllabication as Aid to Reading?

Anybody have, or can recommend, a resource for teaching simple syllabication for teaching reading? I have Egyptian, Cambodian, Haitain, and other ESL students, and they're not very good at speaking, but they have way more trouble with reading and writing English because of the spelling problems. I could help thme with the reading, I think, if I had some good practice materials to help them practice splitting words into manageable chunks.

I've spent hours on the Web and found nothing very useful.

Thanks.
