Default about irregular verbs

In irregular verbs,what are the verbs change in the last consonant but not the vowel? can you please give me an example? and their definitions or uses? please.... this is my report can you help me?

deal, dealt

But, please note, even though the vowel looks the same (i.e. deal, dealt), the vowel sound changes:

Present, deal (d[i:]l) => Past, dealt (d[E]lt)

Symbols
i: as in "ee" in see.
E as in "e" in bed.

If those are the forms you are looking for, try,

sleep, slept
dream, dreamt
keep, kept

Look for past tense verbs that end in "t". :D
