for the seventh time, for a seventh time Martin Hewings' ADVANCED GRAMMAR IN USE contains such a sentence:
When Germany scored for a seventh time, the crowd went wild with excitement. (UNIT 26: 26.3.8)
One month ago in my post I got your kindly help and know that we can 'do sth a seventh time' or 'do sth for a seventh time'. Now I'd very much like to know if we can say 'do sth for the seventh time' as in the situation of the sentence above.
When Germany scored for the seventh time, the crowd went wild with excitement.
Thank you.
