You can also use the phrase 'to conclude'

I am on a "sth" crusade Since this is a forum for learning English, you should not resort to text messaging shorthand. Write out the word "something"!!!

As far as your question goes you could use the phrase "the bottom line" as a summary.

The bottom line is that using "sth" in your writing is a bad habit that can be mis-understood by someone who does not understand text messaging shorthand.

Another phrase could be "to sum up".

open a blank "word document",

type "in short",

highlight it

right click and choose synonyms, then the ms word will be giviging several alternatives to you for the the word that you typed.
