I think this varies from place to place, from country to country.
We wouldn't say "huckster" in Canada unless we meant a dishonest person with inferior merchandise, selling aggressively.
I think we'd just say "people who sell things on the street."
We do say "vendor" sometimes. It would be normal to call someone who sells hotdogs on the street a "hotdog vendor."
Selling things on the street isn't as common in North America. I don't think there's any specific word for it. "Street salesmen" sounds okay and would be understood.

Thanks for answering.
So, you do not use this world..., interesting. What did you mean when said "selling aggressively"?
thanks,

Good question.
One example is that I'm watching television, and a commercial comes on, and the volume goes up. That annoys me, because I think it's aggressive.
But a better example would be the salesmen who are absolute pests at tourist destinations around the world. I'm thinking especially of Mexico.
They target one individual who looks like he has money, and they follow him around trying to sell him something, and they argue with him about why he should buy, and he has a hard time getting rid of them. They're selling aggressively.
best wishes
