Article before proper nouns 'We hope to marry later this year,' a smiling Glynnis said. or "He has no sense of class," an irritated Tucker said after the Leafs' 3-2 shootout loss to Avery's New York Rangers last night during the annual Hall of Fame game at the Air Canada Centre.
Hello everyone,
my question is: what is the meaning of the indefinite article in the examples above? Could we use the definite ones instead? When do we generally use articles before proper nouns?
Thanks for unveiling the secret. Im desperate for the answer. Thanks.
