Dear friends!

- yesterday she drank swimming pool water when swimming, and then she threw up a lot.

- Is this grammatial?

Yup, it is, Namsteven. But using 'drank' tends to make it seem more like it was on purpose.

Yesterday she took in swimming pool water when swimming, and then she threw up a lot.

Yesterday she swallowed swimming pool water when swimming, and then (she-omit) threw up a lot.
