Default Prefix, root and suffix

How can I differentiate which one is prefix, root and suffix in a word?
Do all English words have one or two of the components, either prefex with root, or root with suffix? Advice with examples is much appreciated and thank you.

No, not all words have these. Most do not.

hi

i think you want to know how to analyse words to prefix, root and suffix. it's good to know that:
1- if you see a word that doesn't have any stress be sure that it's root. e.g. last
2- if you see a word that have stress on the first syllable be sure that has atleast a suffix. e.g. painter
3- if you see a word that have stress on the second syllable you can say:
A) that word has two roots, so the stress is between two roots. e.g. goodbye
B) the word atleast have one prefix, so the stress is between prefix and root. e.g. unsafe
