Could you please suppose you are digging a tunnel and you have to carry excavated earth material out of the tunnel, to a disposal site above ground? In this case, do you say "we have to carry soil "up to" the disposal site or "down to" the site? The site is physically above grade and so, I feel it may be "up to," but when you see it in terms of work process (flow), it is located downstream from the digging place. Which is appropriate here?
I would be grateful if I could have comments.
