My grandmother knitted/weaved a scarf for me.
My grandmother knitted/weaved a scarf for me.
Do both knitted and weaved work in the above and mean about the same? Thanks.

Thanks, oregeezer, for the correction.
To make sure, do "wove" and "knitted" mean the same in the sample?

Knitted = created a fabric with two needles and yarn.
Wove = created a fabric by weaving a weft through a warp on a loom.

Thanks.
The past tense form for weave for NaE is either 'weaved' or 'wove'.
