Smile winter freeze/chill/coldness/cold

Yet evergreen plants like pine trees and holly bushes flourish despite the winter freeze/chill/coldness/cold.

Do all of the underlined words fit in the above sample and mean about the same? Thanks.

Angli,

Pine trees and holly bushes (evergreens) will flourish in each of the four environmental conditions listed in your sample. 'Freeze' is by definition the most precise word in your sample.

Cheers,

Thanks, Amigos4.
To make sure, do the other three sound right and good in the sample?
