Re: 'the' Hi Naamplao,
Thank you for your activity (or maybe it would be better to use the word "eruptiveness"). I would afford myself the pleasure of quoting a sentence of our friend riverkid :"When there is nothing left to argue, out comes the... Naamplao."
For your information, the given by you "incomprehensible" words "chastening" and "censorious" are very clear and synonymous expressions. You might find their meaning in every Dictionary.
chasten = to restrain, subdue "chasten a proud spirit"
to rid of excess; refine or purity
"to castigate for the purpose of improving"
censorious = tending to censure, expressing censure
"inclined to judge too severely " = very critical
synonyms: critical, faultfinding
I don't see something disparaging, insulting, offending or derogatory by usage of these words.
Dear Naamplao, not every is a Master of words like you, a man, who might use simple words to describe what he want to say. Please see one of your simplifying sentence, written to your friend and fellow-countryman riverkid: "In fact I am sure you will like the fact that you are in my ignore list". Really, I couldn't write this.
Regards.
