The card is usually accompanied by a small envelope with space for a message.
The customer simply chooses a card and pays for it at the cash register. The card is usually accompanied by a small envelope with space for a message. The customer can write a few words on the envelope, enclose the card and present it to someone as a gift.
Does "with space for a message" equate "with room for a few words?"
Could I use "include the card or put the card in" to replace "enclose the card?" Thanks.

Angli,
Yes and yes is correct but I prefer the original: 'The customer can write a few words on the envelope, enclose the card and present it to someone as a gift.'
