    Default Neither man nor woman...

How do we call person who is not a man or a woman? In some books it is mentioned as 'eunuch' which I have never heard of.

A eunuch is a man who has been castrated. A person with (partially) both male and female genitalia (sex organs) is an hermaphrodite.
I am not aware of any condition where a person is born so devoid of any sexual characteristics that they would not be termed one or the other. The only other word I can think of is 'asexual', which is a term used about organisms, in biology.
    Anyone else able to clarify?

    Thanks David,
But I am expecting somewhat clear answer. What about the word "shemale"?

Your question is not quite clear. Are you talking about sexual deformation or about sexual behaviour?

David's answer seems fair - technically a person who has both male and female genitalia is "hermaphrodite".

A person who lacks libido is "asexual".

Your suggested term "shemale" is used for homosexual males who act in a female manner - is this what you are meaning by "a person who is not a man or a woman"?
