Spoken English

Very often, what I learnt in school seems to be used on paper only, i.e. in a formal way. But when I socialised with English speaking people by using them, it sounded odd. Could you tell me where I can learn the informal spoken English used in the daily life on the net or else, so that I could be more native in speaking English? Thank you.

You can go to a chat room, on yahoo messenger for example, and read and listen to chat and also take part in voice chat.

Deepurple, 2006 offers very good advice regarding visits to chat rooms. However, you must remember that few teachers may be present in those rooms and that spelling, sentence structure, and use of correct grammar may often be lacking in quality. Thank you 2006 and Amigos4. Personally, I would like to learn English in some so-called "situational" conversation, like ordering food in a fast food chain or restaurant, asking the way in a country which you have never visited before , buying tickets at a cinema. All this that I just want to know how to say it idiomatically and in a more real-life scenarios.
