Which of four is/ are correct?

| | Re: but he or but him? Then this is not some religious text, but an ordinary casual situation, where all the formal rules can be relaxed.
In casual speech we would say, "Only Tim knew what was going on." "Tim was the only one who had any idea what was going on."
and for special, appropriate occasions, but very serviceable: "Does anyone have any idea what the hell is going on around this place?"(lol) |
