Watch what you type guys. There are some proofreaders lurking around

I am afraid you should hyphenate "proofreaders". Proof-readers

Dear Shane,

Your English is American. Mine is a British one.

Besides, do not you think that "proof-readers" is a compound word that should be hyphenated?

I'm afraid you're mistaken Ahmed. I speak British English. What's more, the link I gave you was to the Cambridge English website - Cambridge English being British English.

IMHO, I think both hyphenated and non-hyphenated are acceptable. ;)

P.S. Say 'Mine is British', not 'Mine is a British one'.
