Sentence analysis
Dear teachers, I'm a Russian student and I have a problem. Help me, please, to make the sentence analysis and explain it, please.
1) She said it very calmly, but her face had gone the curious colour which ment that she wasn't liking it very much.
2) It appeared that if her family had made an agreement to expose themselves as much as they could during the evening, it would have been impossible for them to play their parts with finer success, she thought.

Marissa,
Do the following sentences help you ?
1) She said it very calmly, but the expression on her face indicated that she was not entirely happy with her comment.
2) It appeared that the agreement her family made to act as naturally as they could during the evening was successful. It would have been impossible for them to play their parts with finer success, she thought.
Cheers,
