Post Sentence check

I would like to know if the following sentences are gramatically correct and understandable?

I am looking to join a conscientious team of physicians that will help me advance towards my career goals while teaching the fundamentals in being an avid Family Practitioner yet at the same time a well experienced clinician.

I look forward in hearing from you to discuss my educational/clinical experience and also what I can help bring to your program.

How about:

In advancing towards my career goal of becoming an avid Family Practitioner I would like to join a team that can teach me the fundamentals and aid my growth as a well experienced clinician.
I look forward to hearing from you very soon so that we can further explore my clinical experience and how it might be used to benefit your program.
