    Hi there,

I wore a pretty dress but I didn't notice there was a hole in it. It ended up being laughed at by my colleague.

    Hi there,

I also wonder how to use 'end up'. Is it correct to say it like this?

I tried hard to do exericse, but it ended up being laughed at my friends because I got fatter instead of thinner.

    thanks

    Pete,

    Try the following sentence:

'I did the exercise but my friends laughed at me because I got fatter instead of thinner.'

    Cheers,
