'The way Anna plays the guitar is very cool.' This sentence is considered common usage within your age group. The 'old fogey' generation might say: 'Anna plays the guitar very well.' Both sentences mean the same thing!

Yes, it is correct but it is informal. In other words, it is used about language that is suitable for using with friends but not in formal situations.
