Default Need help with finding the verb

Hi there

Can you help me to find the verbs in the following sentences? I have underlined the correct once, but in some sentences more than one word may be a verb.

In each of the following sentences name the verb:

1. The trouble started on the street. (or is "started")

2. We never expected a present from my uncle.

Regards

1. The trouble started on the street. - 'started' is the 'action' word, the 'doing' word

2. We never expected a present from my uncle.
