Please help me. I have many friends who absolutely insist on putting "at" at the end of a sentence. Usually it comes in out in a question, such as "Where are you at?" I always correct them, usually with the argument that it is incorrect to use a preposition at the end of a sentence. However, upon being challenged on this recently, I discovered that using a preposition at the end of a sentence does not actually violate a rule of grammar. I still know that putting "at" at the end is incorrect, but I cannot seem to come up with a properly worded reason to convince them of it. They could care less. (Yes, that's the OTHER incorrect thing they always say that drives me up the wall.) :mad: :mad: :mad:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
