Welcome to the forums.
I cannot think of anything that expresses the idea of catastrophes being funny.
On the other hand, there is a saying "There is no point in crying over spilt milk".
You could say of someone being funny - "He is a clown"; "He is a hoot"; "He is a barrel of laughs"; "He is a guinea a minute".
what i meant with the worst catastrophies is sometimes funny is that sometimes when you have a problem all you can do is laugh. another thing is that i want to know if there is an idiom to the meaning "someone is sarcastically describing a person as funny" ,another one to the meaning "someone is playing a role of a lawyer trying to defend a person" and another one to the meaning "a person is dealing with people using double standars"
thanx
