    In this case it has no sexual connotations but even at that, I don't think that makes the sexual word a bad word. And as most, many ??, at least many, right?, think that that 'suck' is enjoyable so I'd have to say that there is no connection between the two words.

    This 'sucks' just means that it is really not good. A synonym could be 'terrible'.

    "It's terrible to be me right now."
