Default I'd like to, I'd love to

---How about a game of chess?
---______.
A. Why not B. I'd like to
The given answer is A. This is easy to understand. But do we always use 'I'd love to' instead of 'I'd like to' when accepting a suggestion or an invitation?

Thank you in advance.
