"is the applicant for the credit designated as the consignee?"
I found this sentence in a documentary credit, which I am translating into Spanish, "is the applicant for the credit designated as the consignee?"
Does anyone know how could I translate it? "is the applicant for the credit designated as the consignee?
many thanks in advance

It is a question asking if the person applying for credit [the applicant for the credit] going to be called/referred to as[designated] the person to whom something is being consigned (handed over to) [consignee].
