| You should address the letter to one person only. So that person knows that a copy has gone to another person a cc is placed at the bottom of the letter after your signature. |

| Just reminding you that when you list Ms. Smith's name as a cc, also include her title: cc: Ms. Jane Smith, Human Resources Manager Then, when you mail her copy (in a separate envelope), put a small checkmark in front of the cc. |
