What damage a singular sound/icon can cause, ne?
|
It took all three of us several posts to figure out the problem was not in the question but in the way the question was posed:
When "eternity" means "the eternal truth" it has to be plural.
"eternity" never means "the eternal truth". It's "eternities, with an -s (a singular sound/icon (i.e. symbol) that means, "eternal truths", again with an -s.
When "eternity" means "the eternal truth
s", it has to be plural in form (i.e.
eternities).
Here I added an -s to "truths". :D
Omitting that symbol was the reason we were confused, and hence, "Forget an -s and the world becomes incomprehensible (i.e. omitting one little sound, one little symbol can cause miscommunication. Imagine that! Now that's cool; a total breakdown in communication, and all due to one symbol. Cool!
All the best, :D
