Is there anything wrong with this sentence:

The job was organised for next month.

Should 'was' be changed for 'has been', or are both grammatically correct sentences with two different meanings? If so, what is the difference?

Is there anything wrong with this sentence:

The job was organised for next month. good sentence

Should 'was' be changed to 'has been', or are both grammatically correct sentences with two different meanings? Both are correct, and have the same meaning. Some people may talk about "was" vs "is", but I think that would be splitting hairs and making assumptions. There is no reason to assume that the job is not still organized for next month.
If so, what is the difference?
