Default Grammaitical errors

Could anyone write to me if there is any grammatical mistake in the following answers or it they are irrelevant.
Q1. On which side of road do people drive in England?
A1. In England, people drive on the left hand side of road.

Q2. Does the taxi driver stop when the bus driver sounds his horn?
A2. No, the taxi driver does not stop when the bus driver sounds his horn.

Q3. Why does the cyclist fall off?
A3. The cyclist falls off as the taxi hits the bicycle.

Q4. What does the bus driver do when he sees the accident?
A4. The bus driver calls the police when he sees the accident.

Q5. How is the boy carried into the ambulance?
A5. The boy is carried into the ambulance on a stretcher.

Q6. What gave the writer a good appetite?
A6. Travelling several days over the mountains and through the forests; crossing rivers, sleeping beside a camp-fire at night gave the writer a good appetite.

Q7. What kind of breakfast did the writer have?
A7. The writer had liquid breakfast.
Or
A7. The writer had a paste in the breakfast.

Q8. Why was the paste tasteless?
A8. The paste was tasteless as it did not contain milk and sugar.

Q9. What did the writer and his family do when the dawn came?
A9. The writer and his family hitched the horses to the wagon.

Q10. Were there many towns nearby?
A10. No, there were not many towns nearby.

Q11. What animal did the writer follow?
A11. The writer followed a wild turkey.

Q12. What passed through the writer’s mind when he was lost in the forest?
A12. When the writer was lost in the forest, his mind was whirling with the bad things he had done and said in the past.

Q13. How did the writer manage to find his way out of the forest?
A13. When the writer started out of the forest, he felt as if a hand was leading him which finally helped him find the road again.

A7 is strange. You might say "The writer had a liquid breakfast." you would never say that he had a paste in the breakfast. Does it mean "porridge" or "hot cereal"? You would also say "for breakfast" instead of "in the breakfast."
Q8 is therefore not right. You might ask why the porridge was tasteless.

All the others seem to be fine.
