    Which is correct:

    1-I am the only person he ordered to help.
    2-I am the only person he ordered to help them.

    If 1 is correct, does it necessarily imply that I am to help him?

    1 is fine, but 2 is a bit artificial.

    As far as I know, nobody had answered this one before. If an answer was ever posted, it must have stayed on for less than a day, or else I would have seen it.
    I had posted another question very much like this one with the word "asked" in it.
