one simple question
i have a question here and i hope you can help me out.
is the word 'wag' equivalent to 'waggle' ?
eg. this animal will waggle its tail when it sees its master.
Re: one simple question
A dog may have a waggly tail, but it wags it. On the other hand, Peter can waggle his ears, but not wag them.
"wag" usually has a more restricted sense of movement than "waggle", which often indicates short fast movement.
