Are sentences 1, 2 and 3 correct with the given meanings:

1-I need to find transportation over Boston.
(Meaning: I need to find transportation to Boston.)
2-I'll get you an escort to the police station.
3-I'll get you an excort over the police station.
(Meanings of 2 and 3: I'll get you an excort that will accompany you to the police station).

Default Re: over/to

There are dialects of English where the speakers say:

1-I need to find transportation over to Boston.
3-I'll get you an escort over to the police station.

These dialects are not common and deviate from standard English.

The most common way to say these is:

1-I need to find transportation to Boston.
3-I'll get you an escort to the police station.

I have never heard a native English speaker say:

1-I need to find transportation over Boston.
3-I'll get you an escort over the police station.

On hearing one of these sentences, a native speaker would think that you were flying above and beyond Boston or the police station.
