Renée Tucker’s Bio

I have worked in customer service and office management within various industries throughout my adult life. My management work experience includes: cable television, finance, internet/computer sales, non-profit groups and most recent, medical office. I began with the cable company as temporary clerical help but with continued promotions served as the office manager / operations manager within two years. During this time I was fortunate to participate in multiple national and local fund rising campaigns, performing television an radio ads and won multiple awards for the accomplishments of the campaigns. In the finance office I served as the assistant Manager and set multiple collection and sales records. As an Internet sales manager, I was the first to introduce the internet to our small community (12 years ago) and also taught an internet fundamentals class at our local community college. In managing a medical office, I have faced the challenges that are present in every medical office and enjoy the opportunity to help others experience a better quality of life.

On the personal side, I am married with 3 children, 25, 23, 18 years in age. I have two grandchildren (I am really to young for that). I enjoy interior design, taking old things and making them beautiful again or just making them different. Together we love to go to the theatre, camping, kayaking, and fishing.

I haven’t been in school in over 23 years and this is my first class. I decided to return and obtain the degree I started many years ago because, I believe it will open otherwise closed doors allowing me new opportunities and personal growth. I look forward to this experience and working with everyone in the class.

Consider closely the reasons behind the amendments suggested. You will need to prepare a few more CVs after you get that degree!
