Please could someone advise me on whether it is ok to use the following sentence in written english:
Here's our favourites...
I think really the sentence should be Here are our favourites...
Could someone please give me some pointes on this.

However, some native speakers use a singular verb even when the subject is plural.
See another example.
Informal: There's some books on the shelf.
Correct form: There are some books on the shelf.
This happens quite frequently but is not generally considered to be grammatically correct. It depends on how much of a purist you are. :wink:
