Unhappy English abbreviation rules

Dear teacher,

Do you know where I can find the detailed and specific rules for the using of English abbreviations?

Or do you know the rules?

Could you please send the answer to my Mailbox: EMAIL REMOVED - Send PM to This User Instead?

Thanks very much!

Yours,

Kammy

Default Re: English abbreviation rules

What kind of rules do you mean?

How do we write abbreviations?
When is it OK to use abbreviations?
What different types of abbreviation are there?
How do we use punctuation with abbreviations?
What do the abbreviations mean?

Take your pick.
