    can u please tell me what does "slotted show" mean?

    Radio offers many slotted shows, each with its own following,every day or week. For instance, you might get on a hard-news show in the morning.

    The shows are slotted into the schedules on a regular basis. If you like, they are the pegs round which the schedules are constructed.
