term for out of a time period
Hello! I was hoping you could help me with a term I learned in High School. The term was used when something occured in a book/movie that was incorrect (or out of place) for the time period/setting of the story. I remember learning this in school, but I have searched many different ways, and through many helpful sites (such as yours!), and can not find the term.
Thank you for any help you can offer!

Re: term for out of a time period
The word you might be looking for is an anachronism.
