Question Masculine and Feminine Gender

Hi teachers!
I'm going to teach Gender to children in Grade 1 and 2 and really have no idea how to teach them. Unfortunately I don't have relevant materials for that. I'm really worried. This task has been given to me by the organization suddenly. Please let me know all about this which should be appropriate for the children at this age e.g. "What is a gender? The definition, the use, the distinguishing tips and some drilling activities etc.
Best regards!
Dawood

Do you mean gender in regards to grammar? As in what words are masculine and which are feminine? Or are you talking about gender in regards to people ("what's the difference between a boy and a girl")?

Anything here?
Primary Resources: PSHE
Search - Resources - Bullying No Way!

I am afraid I really have no idea how this should be taught at this age. It doesn't appear to be a standalone subject as far as I can see.

What age of children should be taught this then?. I also disagreed to teach gender at this age but they don't realize the fact that children at this age are not really able to understand and digest this.

As a matter of interest, how is it done in your own language teaching? There must be some way that it is taught.

In my own language it's done or taught as a form of opposites at primary level. I do know know that there must be a way but what it is. This is exactly what I want to know. How native speakers teach gender to their children in schools in English-speaking countries?
Regards!
