Hi teachers!
I'm going to teach Gender to children in Grade 1 and 2 and really have no idea how to teach them. Unfortunately I don't have relevant materials for that. I'm really worried. This task has been given to me by the organization suddenly. Please let me know all about this which should be appropriate for the children at this age e.g. "What is a gender? The definition, the use, the distinguishing tips and some drilling activities etc.

Do you mean gender in regards to grammar? As in what words are masculine and which are feminine? Or are you talking about gender in regards to people ("what's the difference between a boy and a girl")? |

I am afraid I really have no idea how this should be taught at this age. It doesn't appear to be a standalone subject as far as I can see. |

This is exactly what I want to know. How native speakers teach gender to their children in schools in English-speaking countries?
