Gramatically correct check please

Can you please help. the following is a sentence that was posted to a proposal issued internally. I believe the sentence is a run on and is not grammatically correct - I am doing an internship and trying to convince my boss....

" Our company was founded on the premise of manufacturing and supplying quality solutions and we continue to listen to you, our clients, to respond and anticipate your changing needs and business challenges."

I feel it would be improved by a comma between "solutions" and "and". It would be even better split into two sentences at that point.

I agree; it warrants two separate sentences:


" Our company was founded on the premise of manufacturing and supplying quality solutions. We continue to listen to you, our clients, in order to respond and anticipate your changing needs and business challenges."
