I would like to know if both are correct.
Do you say "raise your hand"? or "raise your hands"?
Is there anything wrong with either of them?
There is also another relevant meaning in the classroom context where a teacher is asking, for instance, how many of the students had completed an assignment.
How would the question be out then? In my opinion, it should still be 'raise your hand' even though the question may have many respondants hands being raised.
